Intelligent inspection of egg cartons using machine vision.

This system combines machine vision and Deep Learning to validate traceability using OCR and barcodes on any type of packaging. Simultaneously, it inspects the condition of both the product and the packaging directly online.

Detects breaks, calibration errors, and defects in the film or closure, ensuring continuous, accurate production with minimal human error.

A new way to identify food: natural, sustainable, and without labels.

This device has been designed to meet the needs of the food industry through a natural and sustainable marking system. Its primary function is to identify and personalize food directly on its surface, without using inks, adhesives, or chemicals. The Laser Food system allows for visible, safe, and permanent marking, without altering the product’s taste, texture, quality, or shelf life. The device is specifically designed for this purpose and offers high performance in industrial environments thanks to its fast, precise, and intuitive operation.

Fase 02 · The challenge

Ensuring quality and traceability in egg packaging lines.

The project required the development of a system capable of automatically inspecting egg cartons on a production line, validating traceability through OCR and reading barcodes in various packaging formats.

The aim was to detect damage, calibration errors, and defects in the film or closure, ensuring continuous quality control at high speeds and eliminating the need for manual inspection.

Fase 03 · Development

Integration of machine vision and Deep Learning online.

A system was developed that combines machine vision and deep learning algorithms to inspect egg trays in real-time during the production process.

The team is analyzing traceability information using OCR and barcode scanning, while also evaluating the condition of the eggs and the packaging. The solution is integrated directly into the line, ensuring continuous and reliable operation at high speeds.
