Through this document, i-mas sets out its Cookie Policy and Data Handling Policy, In accordance with the provisions of article 22.2 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society and Electronic Commerce, and the Guide on the use of cookies issued by the Spanish Agency for Data Protection.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in a user’s browser (on a computer or mobile device). It’s used to allow the website to function, to remember user choices, and, if the user agrees, to measure how the site is used and which campaigns bring visitors.
How we ask for consent
The first time you enter i-mas.com a notice appears with three options of the same weight: accept all, reject all and choose. Choosing separates the two purposes that have consequences, measurement and advertising, and each one is accepted or rejected on its own; the essential ones cannot be switched off, because without them the website does not work and cannot remember this very decision. Until the user chooses, the site installs no cookie that is not strictly necessary and loads no measurement or advertising tool. Anyone who accepts measurement alone gets Google Analytics and nothing else: no advertising tag is ever loaded. The decision is kept for twelve months in a cookie of our own and can be changed at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. Rejecting cookies does not limit the use of the website.

The LinkedIn pixel is handled by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, it is loaded only if the user accepts advertising, and it is explained in LinkedIn’s cookie policy.
These tools are loaded through Google Tag Manager, A tag manager, which on its own does not install cookies. Google can transfer data to the United States; it does so under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information at: Google’s cookie policy.
Embedded content
Some pages display YouTube videos. These are loaded using a private enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only when the user initiates playback. From that point on, YouTube (Google LLC) can install its own cookies, in accordance with its policy.
How to withdraw consent or delete cookies
From the “Manage Cookies” link in the footer, you can change your decision at any time. Furthermore, all browsers allow you to block or delete any cookies that have already been saved.

Record of consent
When the user accepts or rejects, i-mas keeps a record of that decision on its own server: a random identifier, the date and time, which purposes were accepted, the version of the notice being read, the language and the page the decision was made from. Of the IP address we do not keep the address itself but an encrypted fingerprint, which cannot be turned back into a list of who visited the site. This record is the one required by article 7.1 of the General Data Protection Regulation in order to demonstrate that consent existed; it is kept for twenty-four months and then deleted automatically.
