Project update
Fase 01 · The project
Abitus is a suspended system, designed and developed for the most critical areas of hospitals, such as ICUs, HDUs, neonatal units, and recovery rooms.
This is a product that demands reliability and safety, as it is used in situations where immediate action regarding the patient is required. Furthermore, it offers hygiene, ergonomics, and versatility within hospital environments.
Fase 02 · The challenge
System suspended, providing hygiene and ergonomics in critical areas.
Our client required the design of a hospital product that would ensure efficient and safe workflow, reducing response times in emergencies and allowing for modification of its components and accessories to meet current needs.
Fase 03 · Development
Adjustable hospital equipment, with various functions and accessories.
When developing Abitus, the i-mas team paid particular attention to the combination of shapes and materials. Extruded aluminum profiles are used, and numerous decorative elements made from ABS are incorporated.
Fase 04 · Final product
A dedicated, horizontal system for critical areas, equipped with everything needed to care for the patient.
The equipment included with the product is divided into two sections: the horizontal part, which is suspended, and the vertical columns. These columns allow for adjustments in position based on the accessories and the electric mechanisms provided. Furthermore, these columns also house integrated trays and drawers.
