Phase 03 · Innovation with a focus
Creating a medical device that is versatile, single-use, and disposable, designed to facilitate planned or unexpected interventions for patients with difficult airways, was the aim. The objective was to develop a device that could provide ventilation, intubation, and extubation, integrating advanced technologies and considering the ergonomic needs of users. Throughout the process, the advice of a specialist doctor was consulted to ensure the resulting product was safe and reliable. This process involved extensive testing with real patients to guarantee the device’s safety and effectiveness in critical situations.
Phase 04 · Final product
This device incorporates a monitoring system and a reusable Videotrack camera, which provides continuous visual monitoring of the patient during ventilation and intubation, as well as during extubation. Its design allows these procedures to be performed by an operator, who can position themselves in any way relative to the patient, making it particularly useful in emergency or trauma situations.
