The “Anti-COVID Key” is a solidarity project by Grupo i-mas, aimed at contributing to society.
This refers to the design of a tool aimed at preventing infections and intended to coordinate efforts to return to “normal” as quickly as possible. The downloadable file, which can be printed at home, is available on the website, and we also offer the option of sending the tool home free of charge.
Design a tool to prevent people from directly contacting surfaces in public spaces.
Amid an exceptional situation like the pandemic, the i-mas and PROTO&GO! team wanted to develop a simple tool to help people with everyday tasks, such as opening a door in a public space or pressing the elevator button.
Development of a system for preventing infection, but one that could be manufactured at home using a 3D printer.
Market analysis identified a need for an everyday tool. In addition to manufacturing and shipping it from our workshop, we designed it so that people with a 3D printer at home could download the file and make their own anti-COVID key.
A supportive product that allows people to move around public spaces without fear of infection through contact with surfaces.
As a result, a tool was developed that prevented direct contact with surfaces in public spaces, such as doorknobs, cash machines, and door handles. i-mas wanted to contribute to society by limiting the spread of the virus as much as possible.
