“Corazón blanco” is a collector’s case designed for a limited edition book about the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, which transforms its iconic architecture into a tangible, elegant, and emotionally resonant object.

The project transforms the stadium’s identity into a tangible object, combining design, proportion, and detail to create a case that not only protects its contents, but also elevates them into a collectible item intended for fans and design enthusiasts.

Fase 02 · The challenge

Translating the architecture of the Bernabéu into a collectible piece.

Designing a unique case that captured the identity of the new Santiago Bernabéu presented both a conceptual and technical challenge. The aim was to transform an architectural icon into a tangible object that was easily recognizable, while preserving its proportions, geometry, and distinctive character within a compact format.

Furthermore, it was crucial to ensure the manufacturability of the stadium, addressing specific construction details, materials, and opening systems – all while preserving the stadium’s aesthetic and maintaining its functionality and the integrity of the interior structure.

Fase 03 · Development

Translation of architecture in three-dimensional design.

The design process began with an analysis of visual references from the new Santiago Bernabéu stadium, including renders, images, and graphic documentation. Based on this foundation, key proportions, volumes, and geometries were defined to translate the essence of the stadium into a coherent and recognizable physical piece.

The project progressed through iterative design and testing, refining construction details, fittings, and opening mechanisms to ensure both aesthetic fidelity and manufacturability. Work was focused on optimizing materials and production processes, achieving a balance between precision, perceived quality, and the overall functionality of the case as a collectible item.

A collectible item that goes beyond the book.

The result is a unique case that transforms a limited edition into an object of high emotional and aesthetic value. Inspired by the architecture of the new Santiago Bernabéu stadium, the design successfully captures its identity in a compact, recognizable piece intended to endure over time.

Beyond its protective function, the case takes on a central role, elevating the contents and transforming them into a collectible experience. Its attention to detail, proportions, and finishes strengthens the connection with the stadium, offering fans a tangible way to preserve a part of its history.
